A sports court builder job seen in full

How We Work

A straightforward path from site to finished court

Most property owners don’t know what base prep, drainage, and surfacing will cost until the crew shows up.

Fort Lauderdale Sports Courts is an enquiry service for sports court construction across Broward County. We connect you with vetted independent local tradespeople who do the on-site work. Our role is to arrange the right builder for your site, make sure the scope is documented in full before anything is booked, and confirm the result meets that scope before the job is signed off.

Broward County’s high water table and summer-storm rainfall make drainage design one of the most consequential decisions in any court build. A surface slope that sheds water correctly and a compacted sub-base of adequate depth prevent the cracking and pooling that show up after the first wet season. Every evaluation we arrange covers those conditions on the ground, not over the phone based on square footage alone.

The written estimate we arrange lists base preparation, acrylic color coating, regulation line marking, fencing, and lighting as separate line items. You see exactly what each element costs before you agree to anything. No work is scheduled until you have reviewed and accepted that written scope in full. That applies equally to a backyard pickleball court, an HOA multi-sport facility, a school court, or a resurfacing job on a worn surface.

We cover Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Parkland, Davie, Southwest Ranches, Coral Springs, and communities throughout Broward County. Whether your project needs HOA design review clearance or a straightforward residential build, the process is the same: site evaluation, written estimate, scheduled work, final walkthrough.

Our Mission

We exist to make sports court construction straightforward for Broward County property owners by arranging on-site evaluation, written estimates, and a final walkthrough before any job is signed off.

  1. Transparency

Every cost is listed by line item in writing before work is scheduled.

  2. Specificity

Site evaluation covers drainage slope and sub-base conditions, not just a visual measure.

  3. Accountability

A final walkthrough is completed before the job is signed off.

  4. Preparation

Scope, layout, and ground conditions are confirmed before any work begins.

The Process

Four steps from enquiry to finished court

  1. 01

    Submit Your Details

Tell us the site address, the sport or sports you want to play, and any existing surface conditions. The more detail you give, the more accurate the evaluation will be.

  2. 02

    Arrange an Evaluation

We arrange a local court builder to visit your property. They assess drainage slope, sub-base conditions, and available space before any scope is written.

  3. 03

    Review the Written Estimate

You receive an itemised written estimate covering base preparation, surfacing, line marking, fencing, and lighting. No work is scheduled until you have agreed to it in full.

  4. 04

    Complete the Walkthrough

Once construction is finished, a final walkthrough confirms the court matches the agreed scope. You raise anything that needs attention before the crew leaves.

Common Questions

What to expect when you work with us

Do you build the courts yourselves?

No. We are an enquiry service. We arrange a vetted independent local court builder to carry out the on-site work. Our role is to coordinate the evaluation, the written estimate, and the final walkthrough so the process is documented and accountable from start to finish.

Why does the evaluation have to be on-site?

Broward County’s water table and summer rainfall mean drainage slope and sub-base depth vary significantly from one property to the next. A phone estimate based on square footage alone cannot account for those conditions. An on-site visit is the only way to scope the drainage provision accurately.

What does the written estimate include?

The estimate lists base preparation, acrylic color coating, regulation line marking, fencing, and lighting as separate line items. Every cost is itemised so you can see exactly what each element covers before you agree to any work.

What happens if I delay resurfacing a worn court?

Small surface cracks let water reach the base layer. Once water penetrates the base, the repair scope expands from a resurfacing job to base reconstruction, which costs significantly more. Addressing surface wear early keeps the work contained to the acrylic coating layer.

Do you handle HOA design review requirements?

Yes. We arrange builders who are familiar with HOA design review processes common in Weston, Parkland, and Coral Springs communities. The written scope can be formatted to support a design review submission where required.

Which areas do you cover?

We cover Fort Lauderdale, Weston, Parkland, Davie, Southwest Ranches, Coral Springs, and communities throughout Broward County. This includes backyard, HOA, school, and commercial court projects, as well as resurfacing and repair for existing courts.
